This is an incredible book to read. I first became captivated with the story of Amy St. Laurent when I was watching a TV series called "Murder Next Door". After recently viewing this particular episode again (about Amy's disappearance) I decided to do a search on her story and found this book. I don't normally read books about True Crime but I'm very glad I made this purchase. If you are interested in True Crime and the steps law enforcement takes to bring a killer to justice this book is for you. Very gripping account of a young woman's disappearance and told in such detail that it will make you keep on reading. The detailed account of when Amy was discovered (autopsy and officers personal accounts of what they saw) was something that left a lasting impression on me that won't go away. A great effort by 2 authors who bring you a true story like not many can. Its hard to imagine what it must have been like living in Portland, Maine when this all unfolded. Highly recommended reading.
